As far as I can see, it doesn't... Unless I'm missing something, but I can only see the saboteur/griefer helping to speed up the farming process. The freeloader doesn't have to wait as long for the match to be over... the quicker it's over, the quicker he/she/it can start a new one. Win or loose, they still get some factions.

If the grief was ensuring that the freeloader didn't get the winning factions, then it's just a message, a simple gesture to say that he/she/it is not going to get a free ride... it's not a solution or improvement.

Which is worse, having a freeloader, a saboteur, or both?

It is faster to sell jadite to buy amber than it is to earn amber from faction; if one is playing fort aspendwood that is.

If all the luxon let the kurzick run refined amber, while all the kurzick let the luxon go in to kill gunther (after the kurzick run a few round of refined amber that is). Technically, both side can farm faction faster.

when I reported AFKers, I recommended that ANET play some games on Kurz side to see the problem for themselves

the Aspenwood mission is more abused by AFK Leechers than -any- mission in game

I don't play the Luxon side very often -- is the AFK/leech problem as big on that side as it is on the Kurzick side? I typically have at least one AFK'er/leecher every time I go in :/. It really is awful.

And I think the point of this thread is that with the Luxons throwing up all those spirits ( by the way), they earn themselves a fast win and very little faction for, erm, Dark (and yes, I know who the OP meant. He's notorious at FA).

Looks like he's trying to use spirits as a cheesewall and made the mistake of using EoE. That would be a nice idea if spirits didn't go down in one or two thwacks.

when i played Luxons last week, we occasionally had a leecher/AFKer, but yeah, not as often as Kurzick side. maybe they should boot you from the game if you stand AFK for 5 minutes or something in these missions >.>

Well, i supose its meant to stop the monks that solo the mission, when i need faction i go into aspenwood with PS/bonds/HH/Seed then sit next to the architect rotating HH and Seed on him while hes under bonds and prot spirit, and because the opposition is 99% melee and has no enchant rape its literally impossible to kill the architect.
